| ADULT DISCOVERY HOUR: |
Straight talk from Tony Campolo and Shane Claiborne. This is a series of independent stand alone topics on Just Living. Both Tony and Shane have been cutting edge voices in society challenging us as Christians to return to some truths found in scripture.
January 11: Justice What has your experience been with the poor? How does our government help or hinder poverty? What is the difference between writing a check or having a relationship?
January 18: Kevin Riggs will be sharing with the group about his ministry downtown.
January 25: Bob and Linda Keizer, SRC missionaries with Wycliffe in the Philippines, will be sharing about their ministry.
February 1: Ray Vander Laan series facilitated by Dan Hendricks. Walk as Jesus Walked is volume seven in the series. We encourage everyone to attend this fascinating five week class as Ray takes us back into the Biblical time of Christ. Together we will go on a journey of discovery to find answers to who God is and grow in our relationship with him. What better way as a church, as we walk and reach out in our community, than to first learn the faith lessons of walking as Jesus walked. Visit the ancient world through these videos and let the scriptures open up in new and illuminating ways for you.
