Ryan Starr, Worship Leader
Ryan Starr grew up in Buffalo, Minnesota. Since middle school, he played an active role in his church youth group and was provided many opportunities to develop leadership skills and musical abilities. After high School, he moved to Colorado for his first year of Bible College. The following year he transferred to North Park University in Chicago, Illinois and was able to experience the amazing diversity of the city. Ryan quickly integrated himself into the solid Christian community and in 2008 he received a bachelors degree in Biblical and Theological Studies and a minor in music.
Through his involvement with different campus music groups Ryan met his beautiful wife, Laura. After they were married they moved to Washington State where Ryan spent two years employed as a worship leader. Only three weeks after the birth of their little girl, Aislin, they trekked across the country and settled in just up the road in Marne.
"I am excited to have the privileged of leading SRC in worship and becoming more fully integrated into this community."
